Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"I had the most beautifully plated smoked salmon salad that I have ever seen. And it was as delicious to my mouth as it was to my eyes. I couldn’t believe a restaurant this fancy and delicious could be inside a mall. I’m glad I happened to find them. The service was also excellent. They were very patient with my limited (but growing) Spanish."
"Beautiful restaurant and good quality food. Service is excellent. We ordered fillet mignon with mushroom sauce and shrimp ceviche. Both were really delicious. Prices were a bit high!"
"Great place for afternoon tea, salad, for lunch, etc. They have great salad options and the food in general is also good. It's a very traditional elegant place, white table cloth style. Waiters are elegantly dressed and are very attentive. You will find traditional families and influential people often meeting here."
"This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Medellín. Not a lot of people know about it because of its location. We came two years ago during covid and it was excellent but I did not write a review. We decided to return and I was so happy that we did. First this is the best bread in the city. And I love good bread. They’ve added a nice little salad bar. The service is white tablecloth, and the waiters are very knowledgeable and nice. The prices have gone up a little bit, but still cheap by American standards for what you get. We will continue to return and be very happy"
"I was craving pasta and decided to come here with wifey while shopping at Oviedo mall. Service was great , ambience was romantics, and food was very good. We had the fettuccine bolognese and lemon risotto with chicken. Probably not like France but man did it hit the spot for me . Fresh ingredients and perfectly seasoned . I will say the lemon risotto was new for me so I didn’t enjoy it but wife loved it. Coming from America , I think this place does a great job. You can even come here for tea time and just enjoy for a drink or two. Would come here again"
"Service is perfect! The waitress, the hostess, every one! The food was simply perfect as well Even the bread and butter are great! They have a red sangria that is mild and very good. We had an appetizer, crepes, pasta, a burger, a big salad and dessert... We all loved our food! This was our seventh time and we have never been dissapointed. We'll return every time we go back to Medellín. Their menu is big enough with a good variety and options for everyone. They always bring your bill with mint gummies that are a good end for your meal. They take credit cards."
"This place is inside Oviedo mall. The location is not bad. Service is top-notch. The juice I ordered guanábana y mora tasted only like mora. But it was delish. The paella is great as well. All in all, it was a good experience. Highly recommend."
"The one and only downside to my experience were the chairs. The chairs have a metal frame that does not allow one to spread their legs open. I am an overweight American. By American standards, I am not that big, but the metal frame of the chair rubbed against my thigh all night and I was forced to squeeze my legs together throughout the night. Besides that, I give this restaurant 5 stars. My dates enjoyed themselves. We went there because this was the only restaurant that I could find lobster tails on the menu in Medellin. Unfortunately, they were sold out of lobsters that night, so call in advance and check if you want lobster tails. My dates were the youngest people there. This restaurant definitely caters to an older crowd. I would say most of the customers were 40 or older. The service was not fast but also not slow. By Colombian standards, they were fast. Everyone was very attentive. The food was delicious. I never had a soufflé before and this one was amazing! I would go back just for the soufflé. I can’t compare it to any other soufflés but I am a custard lover and I was dying to try their flan, but I am so happy I ordered the soufflé instead. The shrimp ceviche is the best I have ever tried and better than any I have ate in Mexico. For 3 people the bill totaled just under 400.000 pesos but it included the tip."
